so i got my new 5.0,its nice I like the rumble, I ordered a kona blue 6speed 3.73s and the brembos.

one complaint I just dont feel like the car has enough power,especially for the 3.73s, it just kinda limps into the rpm range,idk i expected more out of 412 hp or maybe theres a breakin scheme on the computer idk just 25miles on it
anyone?

 

Congrats on the new car! I would strongly recommend you properly break in your car before romping on it! I felt the same with my '10 V6 with the manual trans, feels like the recommended shift rpms is way too low! You will find that best to change gears around 2500-3000 rpms!

 

i havent romped on it,uk just a little gas in first ha,expect to break the tires loose but it didnt happen

 

You will have no problem breaking them loose if I can! But really the break in period is very important! I'm on my blackberry so I can't see if you have posted pix yet, that's a great color though!

I was just driving a saturn ion redline before and I hate to say it but off the line that thing had way more *****,so I hope there is just something in the computer that limits power till u reach a certain mileage other wise wtf

 

I hope you didnt get a defective one, I'd have the dealer take a look at it. There should be night and day diff. compared to a Saturn.
