Wow so basically what I'm reading here is that the 5.0's can already be had at or slightly below invoice?

Is 0% for 36 a nationwide offer or only in select dealers?

If you get the rebates/plans, the dealer can't help but sell it below invoice.

Between the $500 rebate and the X-plan, I got mine a few bucks below invoice. The dealer makes his money from the reimbursement from Ford.

Supposedly, it's not a dollar-for-dollar reimbursement, or at least that's what my salesman claimed.

Just don't go to Georgia where all of the Ford dealers are supposedly adding ADM on top of the sticker! LOL Just kidding!

What is the X-Plan you're refering to?

Its the easiest plan to get, but the discount is the lowest of the plans too.

Any "family or friends" of qualified individuals get it. Essentially, Ford employees (as well as individuals working at businesses who have made such a deal with Ford) can give up to so many 'pins' per year out to friends and family. The plan got me a couple grand off the $36,600 sticker.

The salesman even implied that he has friends who have given him pins that he can selectively give to customers if need be.

Interesting... unfortunately I dont know anyone like that so unless I've got a generous salesman I will likely miss out on this.

Whats the A plan? does ford have a section of its website that goes through all of these 'plans' so that I can see what I maybe eligible for?

Most of the X-plans come through the place where people work. I work for Union Pacific Railroad and we have a special link on our website with employee discounts. Since we haul their cars we are eligible for the plan. With that being said I got a better deal not using the X-plan. Sticker on mine was 39 and some change......walked out the door paying 33 and some change.

How did you swing a 6k discount just by promising to buy another car soon... did you promise to buy the other one at full sticker? lol just curious if you had any other discounts, or just really great negotiating skills?

Also if I may ask, what options does your particular car have?
