So I went to 3 local ford dealers and non of them have a 5.0 with a manual. So I figured I would order. Im told its 8-12 weeks. But can anybody who has one ordered already tell me if this is a realistic time frame??? Thanks a bunch.

Seems to be 6 weeks now.

6 to 10 weeks if you get the straight packages that Ford offers. If you add any a La carte options it can take longer.

Since it appears that the cars ordered/built recently are shipping, and assuming your dealer has allocation available, 6-8 weeks.

ordered mine may 10th, window sticker late may....salesman said it might be here june 24th....well see...

I ordered my 5.0 June 2 and the dealer told me 6 to 8 weeks as well. I went with Sterling Grey Metallic, 3.73 gears, Brembo brake package and the GT appearance pkg with stone grey interior.

The problem is that I hear there is a stopage on GT productions now and that the current ordered will be shipped by the end of June at the latest.

I spoke to my dealer today and my car is, I guess logged to Ford for production. However, I was looking at July 15 = 6 weeks or 29 July = 8 weeks.

Is there a pruduction hold on this car????

High demand for this car I would imagine. Local dealership had one custom ordered already, they said they ordered it in may and it still had the plastic wrap on the wheels. It was a 5.0 ragtop automatic loaded to the teeth, she said $42k i was like "lol im out of here"
