I saw a completely carbon fiber driveshaft, about 19 lbf total weight, but it goes for just under $2000. There is a back seat delete kit, or hell, if you don't mind looking at bare metal behind you, just remove the seat altogether.
And while removing seats, the passenger side front seat can go too.

If you could care less about the radio, dump that and the speakers.

AC? The AC compressor, accumulator, AC plumbing, and even the dash ventworks can go.

These are all I can think of right now.

Oh, you can save a little more too, don't wear shoes and socks, or even clothes. Don't eat 24hrs before you drive, and make sure you take a wiz and a dump before you get into your car. LOL

I'm not saying you should or should not buy BMR Suspension, but take a look at this page here:

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/index.c...ts&vehicleid=1

Apparently there is a lot of weight to be saved in the front of the car, nearly one hundred pounds in suspension pieces alone. Have at it

Don't forget the stock exhaust are awfully heavy ... some muffler deletes are the fix

All kidding aside, when you do the weight cutting mods, do post, even the ones that are universal for all other S197s. Though I may not use all of them, there are some that I would be interested in

The Brembo option already deletes the spare and jack. In it's place you get a compressor and a can of fix-o-flat. Since they are likely useless, you could also ditch them fir 8 lbs or so.

Boy I learned something new today. If I hadn't read this I would have never known that I don't have a spare. At least not until I needed it.

Fill fuel to not more than half full. 8 gallon less * 7 lbs/gal = 56lbs
Drain washer fluid. Approx 1/2 gal = 4 lbs.
Temporarily remove rear seat (it unclips). ~15 lbs.
Don't eat on race day. ~ 5 lbs.

There's 75 lbs right there at no cost.

Thanks for the input bro. love the not eating on race day comment! LOL! I did all the other things you mentioned to my 06gt except I just completly removed the windshield washer container & lines. netted about a 6 1/2 lbs saving.
