Default Get that "cammed" sound with just a tune?

If this has been posted a million times, I apologize. I even did a search for it and didn't find anything.

with 4 cams and VCT, I'd imagine a tune could easily alter the tone/pitch depending on the manipulation of the intake/exhaust valves.. great sounds too!

it might be set to only do that at idle, not effecting performance once you hit the gas it would likely be normal, as long as it was "safe" it might be fun to have.

I guess I'm in the minority but it just sound unhealthy to me, especially since it's being forced and isn't the result of an actual mod.

I love the sound, but interested if it changes the performance. I think this will be a hot topic for a while. I am not aware of any shop/tuner that is offering this tune. I also would be hesitant to see how it affects the engine over prolonged time. If it is a win/win situation, I would be the first in line. Provided a reputable tuner offered this-ie Bama,BBR, or Lethal. I'm sure this is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Ford does the same thing with the Boss. When you activate the "track key" it changes the idle lope by slightly altering the exhaust valve timing. Sounds badass to me.
