Axleback install..Need help ASAP!

Default Axleback install..Need help ASAP!

Do I need to take the hangers completely off of the car to get this done? If not how in the world is this done? thx

Just lube it up and dont be too gentle....



Seriously though all i did was spray some WD40 and work them out of the hangers

It depends on the axle backs you are installing. The instructions for the Roush, advise you to loosen the clamps holding the intermediate pipe to the H-pipe and sliding out the intermediate pipe to make room for the removal of the old muffler and installation of the new one. They do not have you remove the hangers. The instructuions for the GT-500's have you remove the hangers. Check your instructions.
I advise against using WD-40 as it is petroleum based and can degrade the rubber. Use either lithium grease or a dish detergent and water solution.

i used a little 3&1 oil. and some gauze pads. and i'm gonna need about 10 quarts of antifreeze....preferably prestone. no, make that quaker state.
