Ford said Trans had no issues yet wouldn't pay to have the mechanic strip it down and take a look, and Ford said it was fine stuff is normal, and clearly i have the gall. your loss for more words seems to have impacted your reading seeing how this topic has been covered.

YOU, yourself, didn't believe the transmission issues had been fixed, forget what some crappy dealership told you. Why in God's name would you double the horsepower and erase any chance of Ford eventually fixing the problem????

because it didn't matter for said no new trans, no inspection. I had already bought the blower, i cant wait to completely break the trans with the stock stuff if thats what it was gonna take. Its easy to ask why, but the dealer has actually been good to me so i cant hate on them they tried their best.

The Shelby gt500 gets a tr6060, rated I think to 600bhp crank
Good for the 5.4L Condor.

But when interviewed, Fird engineers who designed the Coyote stated that the Chinese mt82 is rated at only 383 ft-lbf crank. Considering the Coyote not just hits that, but exceeds that, I am wondering why Ford hired Getrag when they could hire Tremec and put in the tr6060?
The camaro ss gets the tr6060 and sells for a similar price as the Coyote so price is not a reason. No one can say the GT would cost $40k. The Boss costs $40k and still only gas the mt82!

I think everyone missed the point. This guy was venting more than complaining and also willing to share rebuild info. I would like more info on the MT82 rebuild. I've dumped 10k on my car this year and plan on adding blow next spring. I would also wait til it broke to replace but want to see what the scoop is and approximate cost.

What were the original issues with the trans? To be fair, it seems like for has been doing an awful job on warranty repairs for the new 5.0.
