Drag radials on stock rims?
Hey all, I'm new to the Mustang game and still learning.
A quick search suggested that there aren't any drag radials, well, at least Nittos or BFG, that will fit on the stock 18 or 19 inch rims on the 11/12 GT.
Do different wheels have to be used for now or are their drag radial options I'm not aware of that will work on stock '11 or '12 GTs?
TIA

If you are looking for drag radials I'd suggest M&H or Mickey Thompson. both I know make tires that fit on the stock rims.
Nitto makes the NT05R 18" that will fit on the stock rim of the 2011 GT.. i'm thinking you haven't tried a google search for nitto drag radial because its the first suggestion.
although most drag racers would recommend M&H or MT over Nitto's.
I dont know about BFG, haven't seen anyone running those to say if they are good or not. and a quick search netted results that dont even look like a normal drag radial.

just a suggestion,
you should check into the race star wheels, a majority of 5.0's are running great times with these wheels at the track, pretty good deal considering what you get in the pack.

Agree, I've used Nitto, BFG and M&H. I would only use Nitto's if I wasn't planning on having an exclusive set of track tires. The BFG and M&H are definitely stickier... From their website, M&H's offerings wouldn't fit a stock wheel, doesn't look like.
