op, your problem is that you said you lost a job and need to sell it. that makes the asshats that think you are going to get the car repossessed come out and offer you pennies. remove that lost job need to sell bit and put that low ballers need not call. FWIW, you need to be looking at selling it for what the KBB is on the car. Most people care nothing for mods, but you never know who you will find that really wants the car.

+1 Get rid of the 'story' most people will take that as a fire sale thinking you are desperate to unload the car for the money.

You see everything in my sig for that 08 GT/CS? I got 18.5k for it and it only had 29k miles on it, after market parts do not matter when you sell a car, it sucks but it is what it is.

It is rare to get back most of what went into the car with modifications, though. That is just part of the car biz.

Yep. It would be much more profitable to take the mods off, sell the car as stock, and sell the mod parts on ebay or wherever.

Sucks that mods on the car are worth nothing.

I agree, return the car to as stock as possible and sell the mods on eBay or Craigslist .
