New Member Winter Tire/Wheel ????
Picking up my 5.0 on Friday. Black on Black, GT Brembo & 3.73. This is my first Mustang, I've always been a Camaro guy but after wrecking my track car (RX8) it's time to get another track capable car. This time I wanted more power and handling so I decided Ford had the Bowtie beat as an all around package.
Now to the purpose of this thread. I live in WI and the 5.0 will be my DD. I had snow tires on the RX8 and it was fine in the snow. So my question is will the GT500 wheels on the link below fit the brembo pack? If so should I go with 245/45R18 or 235/45R18 of the Michelin X-Ice Xi2? I'm sure both tires will fit the 18x9's. Conventional wisdom says narrow is better for snow.

Since the GT500 has the brembos, I would assume these wheels would fit over them. Also one of the reviews on that page says they will clear brembos. As far as tire width, I just checked that tire on TireRack's website and it says they'll both fit up to a 9" rim. Skinnier is better for snow, and they're cheaper.
