I just saw it today as well...But I think it was only because my gas light come on because after i filled it back up never seen it again.

 

there are certain driving parameters that must be met for it to come on. read your manual if you're curious as to how. it doesn't just go away, it's looking for certain parameters that aren't met.

 

I've seen the message pop up once in my first 330 miles of driving, and I don't think it even made me shift in fourth.

I dont really like using it. It seems like if I shift to 4th right when it says to it sounds like im shifting to a gear too early. It doesnt seem to lock me out of 2nd though.

I've got a 2013 GT w/Track Package. It appears that with this option installed there is no skip shift feature. Does anyone know for sure if this is the case??? I've done some might slow take offs and never had it put me into fourth from 1st. If I did have it I would certainly disable it!!!
