Default Adding Purpe Ice?

I have some Royal Purple Purple Ice radiator fluid additive on the way. When adding to a 2012 Mustang, so you just take the cap off the plastic reservoir and dump it in?

I was thinking like on older cars there would be a cap on the radiator itself, but I cant find one. I was assuming that would be where you would put the stuff.

Also how does the Purple Ice compare to other products such as Red Line Water Wetter, etc?

I was reading a review and it said not to use the Purple Ice with distilled water with an aluminum radiator...so I was a little worried about even putting the stuff in now.

thanks

I use the Red Line "Wetter Water" in my 98 Villager GS van, it does cool the van's
temp in the radiator.

I've used Purple ICE in my 06 and haven't had any issue

per OBD2 my coolant temp doesn't get over 197.6f (most of the time it is 195F) only hit 197 when I floor it for a bit and it drops back down fast

though some time soon when I flush and fill it I'll do it a little diffarently

With the capacity of our radiators, it will take a full bottle directly -- good for 1 year.

That's a great price! I paid $10.05 for Red Line "Wetter Water" at Auto Zombie.
