Default JLT CAI/Bama tune

I'm thinking about getting this combo from american muscle for my 2012 GT but I'm concerned from some things I've seen on here.
Can anyone that has this combo please let me know your results and feelings?
Thanks in advance!

Hey,

What concerns are you having? I think you'll be extremely satisfied with what we can offer. We have tuned literally thousands of 2011-2013 Mustangs and they're running strong!

All of our files are researched and developed right here, in-house, on our Dynojet 224xLC. We also Street and Track test everything that we do, to make sure our driveability is top of the line and our tunes are powerful and consistent. You can find us at Cecil County, MD most weekend running our own fleet of 2011+ Mustangs (2011 V6 Auto, 2011 GT Auto, 2012 GT Manual, 2012 Boss 302 Manual, 2013 GT Manual, 2013 V6 Auto) and every combination of CAI's, Intake Manifolds, Headers, Exhausts, Superchargers, Turbos and Nitrous that you could put together!

Any concerns that you have, let me know and we can address them. We get hundreds of datalogs and dyno results back from customers every single day to show the consistency, accuracy, safety and powerfulness of our tunes. I know that we can provide you with the proof you need!

In the mean time, if you have any questions just hit me back here or our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 10AM-3PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Also, enjoy some 2011+ GT videos from us below!

All my concerns have been alleviated. Once I did some research on the subject, I feel totally comfortable going with bama for my tune. You'll be getting my business in a week or so.

There are a lot of good tuners out there like VMP, Lund, etc etc. Don't just limit yourself to one choice. Do your research.

IMO, Bama offers the best option currently, primarily due to their warranty. secondly, Bama e-mail tunes have consistently ran faster in the 1/4 mile than Lund tunes. I suspected Lund tunes were too conservative in the past, based on traps and ETs by people with his tunes, and it's been now verified in our own S&S section, someone trapped 3mph faster and ran .1 faster in the 1/4 going from a lund to a bama tune with cai on an otherwise stock car. The stock tires are the limit to the ET, the trap shows the power he gained.

I haven't seen any reports of VMP tunes on the 2011+ mustangs and their 1/4 mile results or reliability. if they have no piston #8 issues it wouldn't surprise me since hardly anyone runs them.

Chris, So you guys have a video showing the different tunes with different octane gas? I swear I saw one and I can't find it now. Looking to get one of your Tuners that hooks up to the iPods.

I've got the JLT CAI and a tune from Bama and I absolutely love it. What's so nice about it also is the free tunes for life. I've had 3 different sets of tunes from them in less that 4 months because I kept modding my car and each mod required different tunes. I haven't had any issues what so ever.

This is a huge statement, and I'm glad that someone picked up on it. Volume has a lot to do with what you see out here on the internet. We ship over 100 tuners JUST for 2011+ Mustangs each week. When you send out 10x the amount of tunes, we should have 10x the amount of positive AND negative feedback out there.

It comes with our business. At this point, every tuner that I know has "had" a cylinder #8 attached to their name. I say "had" in quotes, because you never know what really happened when you hear the story or read the post on here. The difference is that most people want to stay as far away as possible from that conversation with their business.

We're confident in what we do and we offer a REAL warranty that we spent thousands of dollars in legal fees drafting up. We didn't draft it up for publicity, we did it to show that we stand behind our products and have honored the warranty twice, now.

Whether or not it's a Bama tune issue or an underlying mechanical limitation that is brought out by tuning, we stand behind it. We're SCT's largest dealer in the world and we're fortunate that our loyal customers who have done business with us in the past allowed our company to get to the point where we can do this for you guys.

Bama appreciates it and we'll always pass on whatever perks we can give to our customers!

Got both and I would buy them again and again. No issues at all, and the results are amazing!
