Default engine bogs after warm start ?

have a 2011 gt , car starts and revs great when first started, but run it a little while and shut it off and then start it back and give it a quick rev and it bogs down and spits and sputters like it needs to warm up , acts like it's gonna die ??? anyone else ?

The only definitive answer will come from a dealer service dept. after a thorough diagnosis, but I do recall an ECU software update that may be pertinent to your situation. Do you have any mods? Have you seen a 'Wrench' light flash in the instrument cluster just below the tach?

the car is actually a stage 1 roush, the only thing i have changed is the factory cai, i replaced it with a roush cai. but the car was doing this before i ever changed the cai .. i betting the dealership will blame it on that ??

Roush CAI can be a Ford dealer installed part, and is a no-tune required intake. If they ask tell them the same thing you said above, and if they push the point find a different dealer because that one is going to be difficult. Try to find a roush authorized service dealer if you can and avoid the problem entirely.

I would put the stock intake back on and check with the dealer regarding the ECU flash. As far as I remember the Stage 1 Roush does not have any engine changes, only suspension and appearance.

I have an Airaid CAI, which is the company that makes the CAI's for Roush. When I installed the stand alone CAI, I never encounter any issues. I drove without a custom tune close to 10 months and never experienced the dreaded engine light or throwing codes. I will say, once I uploaded the custom tune, the performance of the car drastically change!
