Default JBA x-pipe, cat delete leaks

I just installed my new JBA x-pipe and car delete pipes. They went on awesome and sound fantastic with the stock axle back and can idle tune. However, there is a leak at the ball flange where the cat delete pipe meets the x. It's leaking from the band clamp where the bolt goes. Not bad but enough to hear it.
I've searched some and it looks as though this is very common. Anybody else having this issue and more importantly any fixes?

Yep, pretty common! I had my connection sleeved and welded. My buddy on the forums had the smallest little leak which you could only hear under the car on a lift (not even at WOT) and a shop told him not to worry about it. I would say hit it with a welder or buy a different better clamp.

I have the JBA x pipe with cat deletes with over 10k miles and no problems. Maybe try loosening and re tightening the clamp and see if it seals.

If you don't mind, keep me up dated if you smell exhaust or anything inside.

Definitely will, no smell in the cab and he as asked other people to listen for it and they can't hear it. The muffler shop said not to worry about it, I would think its fine for now.

Now I get smell sometimes from my setup if I hit a red light and the wind is blowing good lol. Wife complains it sticks in my hair after I hit traffic haha

I had the same thing (leak) JBA does not have the best fit, I used a JEGS Performance Products 30854 - JEGS Stainless Steel Lap Band Exhaust Clamps 3", fixed it and I have had no problems,

Right on....My fix is going to be MBRP LT's with the MBRB O/R H-Pipe to complete the MBRP Cat Back I have.
