I got MGW awhile ago and love it! I do sometimes have trouble with reverse, but all forward gears(the important ones) are perfect .

While I did install the MGW (fantastic piece by the way) I still had similar issues of being locked out of gears. It's no fault of the shifter. I ended up installing new motor mounts (Steeda HD to be specific) and it made a significant improvement. I am no longer being locked out because the motor isn't torquing over. I enjoy the feeling so much I ordered the CHE K-Brace with torque limiters to try and improve it even more. Not sure if that's the issue you're having, but it helped me significantly improve my shifting.
