That being said, I'd appreciate it if fellow posters not turn this thread into a CAI debate.
I already told you you went to a place that has very little tuning experience with these cars. I know all about Mustang Magic.

Yes Scott, I'm fully aware of what you wrote before. I'm not here to call out a shop or have others do it for me.

Your car is not down on power. I got 7 more HP and 10lbs less torque with virtually the same mods. you are not down on power, And both aftermarket CAI'a and Intake manifolds do work. You are getting approximately 475 crank HP without a supercharger, Don't believe everything you read. There are many generous dynos out there.

More than likely bad fuel is the problem and I bet your timing advance was only around 20 to 22 degrees during the dyno pulls. There has been bad fuel going around. Run your car for a couple hundred miles using Torco race fuel blended with 93 octane and take it back to the dyno. This should get you to 25 to 26 degrees timing and around 420 HP. Good luck.

Hey man I don't think he was calling the shop out. He just stated that they don't have experience in the tuning the newer mustangs. Could be true could be false but in no way a tuner bashing..

For the fuel, do you mean to dyno with the race fuel in the tank or to just cycle it through and then dyno with regular gas?

Soldier, I just got the impression that he did not like the shop as he felt the need to tell me and others which shop I went to; I specifically left the name of the shop out of all my posts.

Run with the Torco Race fuel. Torco has the blend ratios for the octane levels you are trying to achieve. This will help the issue if you are getting bad fuel. Bad fuel will cause spark knock and the engine will retard timing to prevent detonation. If you achieve the octane levels you are tuned for, then you should be seeing 25 to 26 degrees on spark advance @ Redline.
