Default Exhaust Help

Getting ready to purchase a 2012 GT soon and need some recommendations for a nice exhaust setup. I have money set aside for mods right now so I want to start buying mods early.

I'm thinking about doing Roush ABs paired with the Pypes OR xpipe and pypes LT headers. Is this a good setup? How will it sound? if anyone has any better recommendations please tell me.

Christ sakes you do know there's hundreds of exhausts threads already? Use the search button and then go to youtube and listen to some videos.

YouTube videos will help and they have just about any setup you can imagine but the best way to determine is to listen to as many exhausts as you can in person and just ask the owner what they have. There's a grey mustang around here I've seen a few times that has an aftermarket exhaust. I'm trying to chase him down to see what he has (so I don't buy it because it sounds like crap ).

Exhaust is like a belly button everyones got one, YouTube to find the sound your looking for. Just keep in mind the different types sound different which that sentence I just wrote makes sense but does not make sense at all.

What I mean is an axle back sounds different than a cat back system. An Axle back with mid pipe and longtube headers sounds different than a cat back with midpip and longtube headers. Take a moment and wrap your head around that one because it hurts and hurts bad. Youtube will only get you so far its going to help to find locals that have setups your interested in and hearing it in person.

Oh two weeks ago now I was parking at a car show. This guy runs up to me and says your car has the exact sound I have been looking for what in the world is it. I told him it was Stainless Works Reto Cat Backs. Not many folks have heard about them for some reason could be a price point thing they are up there with Borla.
