SR Performance short shifter

So I am wanting to upgrade my stock shifter and I am on a limited budget. I know everybody talks about the Barton and MGW but I dont want to spend that much so.....I am wondering if anybody has used the SR performance shifter and their thoughts.

I went cheap with a STS and damaged the synchros in my transmission. If I were you I would save up and buy either the MGW, Barton or Steeda.

Save your pennies for the MGW. You'll never regret it.

Thanks guys, any of you heard good or bad about the Hurst copies from Core?
