Some are, yes, but others run daily.

I am running a K&N FIPK 93 Octane Firm Shift tune, with a stock air-box, and spectre
filter. However, the bottom front of my air-box, I drilled five 1"+ holes for air intake. Nothing
special, and no different than an exposed cone filter in the engine bay. No codes, and
no issues at all. I have an Intune1000, got it for $100 on Facebook, sold the Predator for
$150.

Stock air box modified to allow the MAF to pass through it.
JDM custom tune, ( tuned on the street ).

Just installed this, and all I can say is WOW! Describing it as "waking up the coyote", doesn't quite describe it. It WANTS to be power shifted, if you don't it acts kinda weird, but when you do, OH MY.......
