I'm checking out two mid-pipes and I was wondering what would work best. Right now I have BBK Long Tube Headers with an off-road H-Pipe and SLP loudmouths. I need to switch over to a mid pipe with cats. I know the BBK shorty mid-pipe will work, so that's option number one. Will the SLP shorty x-pipe work with the BBK long tubes?

 

With shorty headers, you can pretty much mix and match brands for mid-pipes. But, as a general rule of thumb, you must use the same brand shorty mid-pipe as your long tube headers. So more then likely, the SLP shorty pipe will not work the the BBK LT headers without possible cutting and weldingmodifications.
