Customer Service problem
hey nick, i buy alot of my mods through you guys, and recently i bought gears and a master bearing kit. i already have a tune from you guys and i called up to ask whether i needed a new tune or can i adjust it, because SCT told me it would depend on how you guys set it up.
so i called your customer service and asked that and the guy said that i would need a whole new tune... i didn't really have a problem with it, because it was free so i just said thats fine...
1. I called two days later, and i was asking what the turn around time would be so i could schedule my install and i wouldn't need drive it uncorrected for a long time. the man on the phone seemed very sarcastic and said two days? come on man it's racing season, you need to atleast give us 5 days... i felt that was rude because i was asking what the turn around time would be..
2. i was playing with my tuner that same day and found that i could just return it to stock and then when i go to reload it, it asks me to make any changes, which i could just correct the gears frrom there...
it isa little frustrating...

If you PM me your full name and/or order number, I can take a look and see who you talked to. I have a feeling they weren't being purposefully rude, but rather just talking to you as if you were one of their car friends. When you are working in a field that is also your hobby, you can easily see how that could happen. Which I won't deny would be unprofessional, but I don't think they were being intentionally rude. I will definitely look up who you talked to and make sure they are spoken to.
As far as adjusting the gears on the handheld, you definitely can. The only time we recommend a new tune for gears (which are free anyway) is if you have an automatic. While you can change them still on the handheld, we can optimize the tune better here for the transmission.

Absolutely, but I need you to PM me your Full Name and/or Order Number so I can look up your order. You should have got the tune by now, so if you can also send PM your email address to verify the tuner has the correct one. Its possible it was sent to the wrong address. Also, double check your SPAM/Bulk/Junk Mail folder, it is possible it was incorrectly flagged by your ISP.
Thanks,
Nick
EDIT: I just saw your PM with your order info. Sorry, I'm not used to the new forum changes yet haha. Can you just PM me your email address so I can verify it then?
Thanks,
Nick
