Ok... so what I am wanting to do is add some flare to my car (under hood, interior... wherever). I would like some ideas of what to do, i.e. painted trim, painted engine compartement, etc.

Some things I am looking to stay away from are intake cover (saving money for sc) and paint on the bottom hood (ram air of some type in same vacinity as sc... then paint perhaps).

I hope to do the work myself... looking to get into custom painting on the side and want to use my car for my portfolio.

I am going to stick with stripes on the exterior... perhaps clean up a few blemishes here and there. Other than the hood and new wheels at some point, the exterior is pretty much what I have always wanted... for now.

So, if you have some pics of your custom work... please share. Any tasteful ideas are welcome.

Maybe tint the fog, tail and headlights? But whatever you do dont over do it. It looks good as is.

Id def get a cowl hood or another aftermarket hood. The flat hoods on the s197s dont do it for me.

Definitely in the plans... probably either gts3 hood or cervini ram air of some type... not sure yet.

Right now I am just looking for things I can do while I save up my money for the big things. Unfortunately money is not something that just floats around my house with two young kids... so I have to build it up. Priorities, call me crazy. If only I could win the lotto. I'd proabbaly have to play first, though.

So, any pics of custom paint jobs? Primarily interior trim or engine bay? Was thinking I could do something with the radiator cover? Ideas?

Ok... sorry to keep posting... just trying to get ideas.

I'm not really feeling my wheels. They came with the car. I love the tires... not so much the wheels.

Why would you waste any money on anything if you are saving up for one of the best mods being the FI. I would just put all the money I had into the FI and wait on all the cosmetic crap.

^^^ Good point... am pretty much doing so. Paint would be done by me and if I'd get new wheels I have to sell the ones on it first and buy the new ones once they are sold.
