WTB: 87-95 BUILT mustang, prefer near NJ


I am now looking for another mustang.
I would like any 87-95 Mustang that is relatively BUILT and very CLEAN.
Please read entire post before replying!!!

I am not looking for anything that needs any body work or rust repair, or any major mechanical work.
I may take something that needs paint ONLY.

Preferences/Requirements:

1) NO RACE CARS!!!
-Must be street legal, and very "streetable" still, which entails working power options, heat, etc.
Does not have to have A/C.
No cars with a jungle gym of a cage in them, will consider 6 pt's.....

2) HCI at least!!! The more done, the better.
-Must be a 302 based motor!!
-Must be stock comp ratio or LOWER!!
-Would love an aftermarket block and forged internals, but will accept stock block cars.

3) Either an after-market 5/6 speed, or a well built auto.
-Would prefer 5 speed, but will consider the AOD cars.

4) Prefer at least semi built rear.
Obviously I am looking for a modified car, so you guys know the drill, the more the better......

5) No RED interior cars.
-Anything else is fine.

6) Would like to find a 5 lug car (if 87-93), with at the very least basic suspension mods.
-Prefer something that is not all out 1/4 mile themed, aka 90/10's, no sway bar, and skinnies up front, but will consider.
-Would prefer 4 wheel disc.

7) MUST BE CLEAN.
-Even if it needs paint, I expect the car to have no rust, and to be very, very clean overall. I am very picky......

8) I will consider a blown or turbo'd car, but no nitrous cars please.
-I have a TT kit awaiting the car, so it is not a necessity but I will not rule out a clean car that I can swap power adders on....

9) MUST have paperwork/documentation on anything that I cannot obviously see, aka internals, tranny, rear internals, etc....


Basically, I am looking for a BUILT STREET car.

And the main objective is for it to be a good running, driving, clean car that does not need any major fixes or issues dealt with. You can see my current car (93 GT) and the other 94 that I sold quite a while ago below in my sig. These are obviously prime examples of clean mustangs. I expect replies to be in close to the same shape in terms of cleanliness and not being hack jobs.
I know what I am looking at, so please no BS.

I am looking to spend anywhere from @ $5000 to $8500 on the right car.
Obviously my offers will depend on the overall condition and how well the car fits what I need it to be.
I have cash, truck, and a trailer, so there will be no BS from my end.

I also have a 1991 GMC Syclone that i would consider trading for the perfect car, if someone were interested, but would prefer to keep it.
There will be no "trading up" from me if someone were interested.

Car must be semi-local to Southern NJ, unless you can provide a ton of pics, a video of car running and some type of refs preferably. Otherwise do not bother.

After having 15-20 of these cars, I am now pretty versed on the ins and outs, so I might as well save others and myself some time weeding out the ones that I will not be interested in...

But, yes, I am pretty **** retentive.
And I just don't feel like building another car at this point.

It seems that my car fits the bill except for the price. It is a GREAT car though. We might could work something out but I just put a Brand New TKO 600 transmission in it w/ a Mcloud clutch. The t-5 wasn't enough. So I've gotta stay pretty frim on the price b/c that was a cool $3200 I just spent. As for the distance, I know how to drive to. here is the link to my car. Thats all fine and dandy barettabob, but I have time and can wait until the right car pops up, or someone realizes that they are not going to get top dollar for a modified car.

That coupe is a prime example of a clean looking car that is built right, unfortunately it is out of my price range.
That would be the perfect car without the blower setup, as it would probably put it closer to what I am looking to spend. So you see, they are out there, it may just take some time...

If you wanted to do something without the Vortech setup, I amy be interested, but I realoze it is probably not in your plans to pull apart an already together car.

Well, if mine doesn't sell in a week or so and you don't find what you're looking for, we can do that and go from there. I wouldn't mind keeping the blower b/c in the near future I'm going to build another one. I HATE selling this car but my apt. was broken into and everything stolen and me being a college student just makes it that much worse. So hopefully we can work something out shortly.
