Default Just Bought a 1970 Mach 1 - looking for info

it is a true Mach 1 Vin 0T05H163745 but engine # and vin don't come close.
engine # 41583480
can anybody tell me info on how the number issues work please?

more info I got
0 = 1970.

T = Metuchen NJ Assembly Plant.

05 = Mach 1 2 Door HT (Fastback) Body Style 63C

H = 351 2V Cleveland

163745 = 1970 Numerical Sequence of Assembly.

I rebuilt my engine in a 65 and the stamped in ser. numbers matched(as did the trans and rearend). I would guess yours had a eng swap at some point not unusual for a 30+year old car. and short of a concours car show won't matter. pics would be nice!

my 2nd favorite body style(really like the 69 side scoops and tail lights not to mention 4 headlights) both great looking just enough difference for controversy(I would have a hard time keeping myself from a late model GT swap 412 hp 28mpg!!)
