I got the notification yesterday that Ford has finally released the fix for the air-bag recall. I'd like to set up an appointment with a Ford dealer in my area (Chandler) to have this taken care of.

Since I'm OCD about my cars, I've read all the reviews of two dealerships in my area (Gilbert and Chandler) and they seem like mixed reviews. For every 5 star review there is a 1 Star review.

This makes me extremely nervous considering my 05 is the garage queen and is in show-car condition. (No swirls/scratches) and has a ceramic coating. It gets less than 1000 miles a year and hardly any mileage last year because of our move.

Are there any local chapter members who can recommend a good dealership to do the airbag replacement? Does it have to be Ford or can it be an independent shop I found?
