Default Alternator whine isolators????

I just recently purchased a Optima Yellow top battery and it actually took away most of my alternator whine, but I want it completely gone and I dont want it to come back, will this really work? Its an isolator that supposivley filters out the any noises between your deck an ur amps.... ive heard of noise filters an such but ive never heard of this particalur isolator, if anyone has any feedback or knows anything about this please let me know thanks....
Does this really work?

sometimes they do but it could be alot of things. bad rcas, bad ground, certain amps will add a whine, how you have your wires ran, what kind of deck do you have cause a bad ground there could add noise.

It could be because your rca's and ground crossed...buy some new rca's and try it

I have used one of these before. It works on the principle of filtering frequencies common to alternator whine. So think about this. if it is filtering frequencies out of your signal, isn’t it also degrading the accuracy of your system over all? I have found this to be true in testing. I added this unit to a system that had no whine, then tested the system with both an audio control RTA and an oscilloscope. There was a measurable drop in certain frequencies. Forgive me for not being able to list those frequencies affected off the top of my head. But any change to your signal will effect the over sound quality. Your best bet is to take the time to go through your system using troubleshooting techniques to find the source of the problem and then taking care of it properly.

you might need to re ground the h/u.sometimes if you use differnt brands or cheap rca's or power wire next to the rca's all of these can cause engine noise.what kind of h/u do you have?

i have seen where if the factory harness is close to the rca's caused engine noise or "alt wine" try to move the fact harness away from the rca's.get a spare peice of wire and put to a good ground on the body and touch the other end to the case of the radio.also if you radio has a dc converter box on it it can cause engine noise.its a wire that is attached to the radio on the one end and the other end is a little metal box.what kind of rca's are you using?

If it went away when you replaced the RCA'S then their is a good chance your rca's and ground keep crossing...
