Default Rear Deck?

Anyone in here know the depth of the rear deck on a 2001 6cyl mustang? My fiance is planning on buying her this mustang soon and I need to know if the rear deck is big enough to house a pair of 8' subs for a IB install?

pretty sure its around 11 1/4 inches from the trunk carpet to the lowest part of the plasic shelf....that is the measurement on an '01 GT with the Mach460. Hope that helps. I currently have one 10" sub that fits fine, and used to have two 12" subs but they had to be angled in a custom box to fit.... since the 10" fits fine, you should be able to put in 8's no problem. I would recommend one of the kicker square subs though, like the 10" L5 or L7. They put out an unbeliveable amound of bass for such a small package. And when it comes to girlfriends, wifes, and fiances... putting out is key.
