What's the main difference in a mono amp and 2 channel amps? Which one would be better for 2 subs?

a mono amp only has one chanel.It all depends on what ohm your subs are and what ohm load the amp is so i cant tell you what one would be better for 2 subs.Mono amps usually are not as clean as 2ch amps but usually the draw less power.2ch amps have a better low note and better sq

I have the Kicker Comp VR 05CVR124 12" Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coil Component Sub 12" Component Subwoofers
So I guess thats 4 ohms per sub and I have 2 of them.
The amps I was looknig to power these was the Kenwood KAC-9152D Subwoofer Mono Amp....would be good or what should I get?

Im pretty sure the kenwood amp will only handle a 2 ohm load so that wouldnt be good unless you run one amp per sub or just one sub.You can wire each of your subs 2 or 4 ohm.So if you want to run both subs you would have to get a 1 ohm mono amp or a 2 ohm stereo 2ch or a 1 ohm mono 2ch.if you cant figure out what im talking about just list some models of amps and i will help you out on witch one to get

it all depends what your price limit is.tell me how much you want to spend for a amp.I can get you a jbl crown for only $3000.00 lol

you might want to look at some mtx amps they are decent for the dollar.check ebay for some used us amps,mtx,mmats,dd,jbl there are alot of good brands out there. you might just want to buy 2 smaller kenwood amps.look into it give me some model numbers and i will help you pic the best for the $
