I think I am just going to put 1 15" in a box that takes up the whole trunk powered by 1500 watts, then for the highs I will just install a headphone distribution amp from my studio and just make every one wear studio headphones.
Perfect imaging, feel the bass, what more could you want? Oh wait isnt it illegal to drive with head phones on in most states?

Back to the original topic....Batteries are the way to go. For $200, you can buy one Farad cap, or two Optima Dry Cell batteries. No brainer there. Capacitors are like bandaids for a cut that requires 200 stitches.
