Oh yeah tapout where can you buy an optima battery for $100??? I got my cap for $80 with my discount and I got the battery for $90 but I got it second hand if I can get another one for $100 new I want to know where!

 

pepboys sells optima's for 129 around here.They are gel cells not dry cell

 

I use Everstart Maxx batteries. I think they are great compared to my old Yellow top, especially when you can save 70 dollars and put that money elsewhere

 

the best thing is a high output alternator that can charge more than your system will draw.

Big sign at Advanced Autoparts for $109.99. I would imagine if you have a friend at a shop, he could order one for less. When I used to work for a small mom and pop stereo store, I could order one from interstate batteries for less.
