Did I ever badmouth MB QUARTZ? NOPE what do I have running through my envoy and Neon....MB QUARTZ. Point and case last time I'll say it you want a good stereo...maybe not the best....but a kick *** system nonetheless Leave stock speakers alone if they are still good....add MB quartz high's mids if you want to spend a little more and get your choice of SUB...in my opinion you should always work on the high's before the lows...get yer mids and highs sounding great it is just as important as your sub. ADVANTAGES of using a "badzooka tube" takes up less space, good bang for the buck, self powered...no amp needed.....but if you can get ahold of a custom box go for it.

this is one messed up thread.

First of all its really stupid to add tweeters to your factory mids. a great comp set will cost less then you proably paid for those tweeters. mbquart is good if you dont like midbass and harsh tweeters. and bazooka tubes pret ty much suck they are for the person that wants to add bass to their factory system and wattage dosnt mean loudness it all depends on the subs and the box. and you can fit alot of subs in a mustang if you want. im doing 2 18"s ported in my mustang. and if you paid 2 grand for what you wrote in your post im sure you got screwed really bad.

Any sub, that does not require an amp, is bound to blow, and even suck at blowing...
