You know, I often feel like that dorky kid in the back of the classroom straining to raise his hand, "I know! I know...pick me!"
But I really do know this one.

The sub enclosure looks integral to the entire door panel. Some other guys here were saying that they modified it a bit for strength and to fit slightly deeper subs. It's all plastic, so anything is possible with some 4040.

It's really shallow. The stock sub is bolted to the enclosure in the center so it's raised where it bolts on.

You only have about 3.5 inches of depth. You also have to be carfeful of the width of the basket of the woofer. There is not much clearence on the sides either. I had a set of 3/4 inch MDF spacer rings made in order to mount Kicker 8" CVRs

DaddyD, which model kickers did you install. How would I go about getting spacers to get the kickers to fit. Also, did you replace the factory amps?

I used 8"CVRs, DVC, 2ohm

An audio shop made the 3/4" spacers for me out of MDF. It cost me about $25 for them.

You can cut them with a jigsaw, but I recommend a router, as the shop did for mine. The amps are factory.

They don't put out much in the way of power, but can handle pretty low impedence loads.
