Default Mach 460 Issues

I replaced my CAI last night and I put everything back together, but now my HU says "CD Error".

When I try to load it, it says "All slots full" but there not (5 CDs). When I try to eject a CD I hear some movement, but it doesn't do anything and gives "CD Error". I dunno what to do

Please help!!!

I think every one is still scratching their heads over how changing your CAI can effect your stereo.
Is it a stock stereo?
What year car?

Unplug your head unit and plug it back in.

I have no idea. I diconnected the neg terminal, installed the CAI, and then re-installed. It just didn't work after that till I fixed it (another thread)

Does the radio work? The radio may be in lockout mode because of the power outage.

The radio worked with no issues, it was just the cd player.

i had the same problem with the 6 disc changer...it read "cd error", and would not play load or eject. just disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 seconds or so and hook it back up. this will allow the radio to reset and should fix the problem , it worked for me
