I removed my insturment cluster on my 87 GT conv. I'd like to replace the stock cluster backlights with colored ones. Right now the stock lights are white and seem to give a greenish backlight to the speedo tach etc.

What replacement lamps or leds should I buy from radio shack to replace these?

if not, is there an aftermarket kit?

My car is navy blue, so I'm thinking of replacing the lamps with blue lamps. Has anyone done this and liked it? was it too dark?

Not sure but as a thought, You say the dash is green in appearance but the bulbs are clear, this leads me to believe that changing them to blue will not make your gauges blue. but a darker green.
