Default System in a Fastback? HELP!

Well i looked at the trunk of my new mach 1... so uh, where the hell do the subs fit in??? lol
So far i figure get new kick panels and get my door speakers in pods down by my feet, Rear speakers under the rear window and a small amp for those under the seat if it will fit.

As for subs and amp in the trunk, i have no idea. I have 2 10's right now but i dont know how they will fit with the spare tire in there.

Have any of you guys with classic mustangs put systems in ur cars? If so how?

Not that I personally can help you, but it might help if you provided more information. What year is your Mach1?

Its fitting through the hole of the trunk lid that gives you problems right? I would thing 2 single 10 boxes would work cuz they can be set in there seperatly. I have never done subs though. As for amp what I did on mine was cut a board approx 8 x 24 and mounted that on an angle from right in front of the gas tank to just under the flap that leads to the rear seat. I screwed it in place. However keep in mind the screws do come out under the car so make sure your clear. From there you can screw amps and wires whatever to the board all you want. I also glued black carpet to the board.

I wouldnt suggest mounting the amps under the seat. Even my small one I didnt thing fit right. They do fit, but expecially for a sub amp the heat gets trapped and can result in premature failure. Also because of the movement of the seat someone in the front seat or the back (depending how far back the seat is) could kick it or step on it.

The year of the Mach 1 is 1969. And thanks for your replys. Here is a quick image of the trunk.

I have 2 10's and a 12 from my celica and hoping to get what ever i can into this. The spare tire is gonna have to stay there sadly. Heres what i think so far.

Door speakers: Mount in aftermarket kicker panels that go near feet.
Rear speakers: In cardboard insert just below rear window.
2 Amps in trunk
Subs: 2 10's and hopefully a 12 in trunk.

Theres many other mounting options but its hard to maintain value of car when u need to do cutting
