Congratulations on your choice to pay for name brand instead of sound ability

go big or dont go at all. 10s are nice, but u will more than likely find urself wanting 12s eventually. and 12s dont have to be gawdy (thats just how the guys in lifted caddy dts's with 22s do it.....) they can sound really nice. just make sure u get quality parts. I am partial to infinity kappa perfects myself. the VQs are good enough, but the dvqs are sweet. I would get 1 12" instead of 2 10s. better sound quality with deeper bass and more trunk room afterwards.

I listened to 2 MTX 7500 10's in the sledgehammer box with an MTX 4501 amp, and I was shocked how well they performed and unless you buy that JL stuff used it's going to be much cheaper. You could go with the 8500 10's they are going to be louder but at a price point the 7500's rocked.

I heard a MTX 7500 15" in a custom box running off a kicker 2500.1 and the sh*t was pretty loud. They are loud for the price.

I pretty much have my mind made up with the JL stuff... Unless there is a JL 12" that is around the same price as a 10W3v2 and that could run off a JL 250/1 amp (Or a JL one about the same price)
