lol jls sound like god, haha. thats a good amp for 1, from what ive seen if you go 2 get the 500/1 amp, no prob about the ?s i like helpin ppls out, another thing you might think about is dynamat, line your trunk floor and roof with it and it wont rattle much at all, it will also bounce the sound up front

With ONE 10" sub and the 250/1 Amp - Would you be able to tell it wasnt stock - and still get some good noise from it...
OR
Would I be better off getting two 10's with a 500/1 amp?

 

you can definetly tell with 1 sub, with that JL itll be some bump in the trunk, thats what ill be gettin soon,

yes, get the 1 10 inch, this should be perfect for you, you want it to bump in relation to all the other music, not just be all bass, that should be perfect, 10W3v2 and a 250/1 amp

 

Im glad that someone finally gave me some straight answers to my questions. I usually get like 100 different subs/amps/etc ... Thanks alot. Im excited now, lol.. Wont take up as much room in the truck as getting two 10's either - Thats a plus for me.. I haul my life around with me in my trunk, lol..

 

haha, at least u drive a mustang...i have a f@@king taurus...gay. my 'rents made me buy it so yea, i have mucho room. the 1 sub will be great, let me know how it turns out kk? people like to give you tons of opinions, JL is best on the market pretty much, lil more moeny but def. worth it, alpine is loud but ****ty, Audiobahn sucks all the way around and yea, JL owns haha

In defense of the rest of the group. Your last question was "What are the best brands for 10" subs... I want good bass, Nothing that sounds horrible.
