I've never heard of Resonant Engineering....i thought you guys just kept spelling rockford fosgate wrong......lol......digital designs are good......but a whole system for a grand?..we paid close to 4k on my system including installation, flushed in box built in my trunk, dynamat, wiring, 2 caps.....but then again i got it done at one of the top shops in norcal....sound innovations in hayward, ca.....theyve had around 20 vehicles featured in car audio mag

My set-up is:
Alpine: CDA-9835 HU...top of the line NON-multimedia radio in 2004
MRV-F345 75x4 on Mids/Highs
MRD-M501 1000x1 on subs
6.5 Type-R Components in doors with tweets mounted in doors (not mach location.....behind factory grills)
5x7 Coaxial Type-R in rear factory location
Two 10" Type-R Subs
Custom built MDF enclosure for subs....flushed in panel

Monster Cable 4 gauge wiring and two 1 farad capacitors

The radio was on sale at Good Guys for 480 usually 550
The rest of the system cost about 3500 altogether....and thats not even top of the line Alpine product...good luck spending only a grand
