Default Ignition Question.

I have a car that doesn't have the keys because they were stolen. The steering column is locked and I don't want to pay to get it re-keyed if I am going to put a push button start on it and cant get it in my garage unless I break the steering column. Now I know if I break it and do away with the key ignition I lose headlight, turn signals and so on. I was going to put an 5-hole Start/Ignition Panel on the car. With that, is there a way to have it set up to get the Lights, turn signals to still work with a push button still?

You should be able to disassemble the column and remove the ignition and lock with out destroying the whole column. That way you can retain your Light and turn signal control.

Well, it's not a Ford and that why I didn't put what it was. :X

But it's a 1983 Camaro with a 400 Small block bored 30 over. Tubed, Caged, almost the whole 9 yards, but before I got it the owners keys got stole from where it was. I want to replace the whole steering column with a new column with a quick release steering wheel. Now I am not going to replace the whole thing if I can get a quick release that with go on my stock column. I don't know if they can or can't. Would you have any insight on that? I took the steering wheel of last night and got all the way to where the lock is and took that off. I am going to be able to move it now but need to find out if I can get a quick release that will work on the stock column or if I have to buy a whole new assembly for it.
