I got a 93 vert with a 12inch mtx. When the top is up it bass hit nice , but top less its all gone. Any solutions

 

With the top down i dont think theres anything you can do[&:]

 

what type of box do you have? Ported? What way is the speaker and the ports facing?

 

Its a sealed box with speaker fracing up.

 

Well, your problem is you need a new cd player. You probobly don't have a flip up screen cd player. In order for the bass to stay on you have to have that kind of cd player. It won't work with normal cd players. My advice, call best buy, and ask them if they have and cd player with a cd59rt code in them. If yes, then buy that one, it will definitely keep the bass going strong, and probobly double the loudness factor.

 

 

I have a alpine head unit. It has sub control which are turned up with the bass level as well. Plus a mono alpine amp which is up.

 

try facing the box to the rear.. thats where it should be.

 

Its a vert 9inch from floor to deck lid.Is it just a vert thing and just deal with nothings going to help?

 

Your not going to hear it with the top dowqn. just have to deal with it. I had a 93 vert i know your trunk space is almost nonexsitant.
