Default Shaker/Skipper 500 Clarification

You would think this is an easy question, but it's not. What is included in the Shaker 500 head unit?

I have read some posts that say there are amps in the driver kick panel for the subs in the doors and other posts say they are powered by the head unit... which on is correct???? [sm=dontgetit.gif]

Their are 2 amps in the drivers side kick panel that power the subs. the unit provides power for the rear speakers and the speakers in the upper part of the front door.

Thanks.

Now something that sounds even more odd. My vert came with the standard radio and I upgraded it to the Shaker 500 (for the in dash CD/MP3 changer option) from eBay. I changed out the front and rear speakers to some Alpine 5x7's that had a ton better clarity.

All that said, I am looking to add some sub's and was trying to figure out what the Shaker actually had and where I would find the wiring. I am hoping that Ford did wire everything out even though I didn't buy the Shaker originally.

What are the odds in that being true? And, do those factory amps have RCA or speaker inputs? [sm=gobble.gif]
