This should probably be placed in A/V but I think it would get more people who know what I'm talking about here so here it goes.

I'd like to add a subwoofer to my vert with the shaker 500(I already replaced all 4 6x8's with infinitys). i know the only 2 custom fit ones readile available are the Scosche and the mtx thunderform.

I'm not that familiar with MTX so to those of you who know, are they a good company? Do they make a qualitproduct? I like the fact it has a built in amp. They are both about the same price when you consider adding an amp to the Scosche.

I like the fact that you can load any sub into the scosche box, but i really don't feel like putting a separate amp in my trunk b/c its small enough as it is.

If anyone has or has heard either of these I would appreciate your comments.

Save the time and frustration go with the MTX. The box is molded to the shape it needs to be to fit in the car nicely but they are also the right size for the woofer thats in them. With the scosche you'll (more than likely) end up putting a woofer in there that doesn't have the correct amount of volume to function properly.

x2 get the mtx box.I run mtx sub amps for a few years now and never had a problem yet.
