What a long night. Just got home from Midnight Mayhem at Cordova and there was a dB Drag going on and I had my car there and there wasn't a signup fee or anything so I figured, Hey why not see what my car can do. Well turns out my system isn't as crappy as I thought it was, ok it's still crap but it's better than the crap everyone else there had. I did a 145.1 and took 1st place, I also set the all-time track record. Sorry guys I don't know what kind of meter it was, I was going to ask the guy once tropheys got presented but he apparently booked out of there right after the last person did there run. So I am not sure what kind of meter it was on. Funny thing was before I got there. The kid on top was doing 144.7 and he was being a real ****, hollering out "Aint nobody got **** on ma system!" stupid stuff like that. He had 6 JL 15" in a hatch Escort. I didn't get a look at the amp he was using but he had to have had something big to run those. He was pissed because he was off to the side and everyone was gathering around his car checking out what he had and everything I roll up no-one pays any attention. I do my run the guy conducting the runs was watching it and all the sudden(I obviously can't hear much) I see everyone jump over around my car walking away from his. Once I shut it down and got out, everyones yelling, oh my god I wonder what he has, blah blah blah, open the trunk and reveil my crappy *** 12's and the look on that guys face was pretty funny, knowing he got beat buy 2 weak 12's. Got a trophey out of the night so I guess it went well.

 

Not a bad score.Db drag uses a Termlab mic. The old mic is about 4-6 db down from the new TL im not sure what one you used.I own a new TL mic the last time i tested mine i did a 151.3 but i blew a amp so i shold hit about a 152 with all 4 working amps.What setup are you running?

 

I thought the old mic was off by like 10 compared to the new ones...

 

I think the Audio control mic is off by 10db's.My buddy has the old tl he hits a 150 on the old tl and a 146 on the new tl.I depends what the "K factor" is set to because that will effect the reading.

B.B. sealed pre-fab box. With how big the woofers are theres maybe a half cu, each woofer.
My back seats removed woofers point up and out, facing my trunk lid basically.
Ohh and all stock Mach speakers and amps.

I just looked at it and was checking on my drivers because the second time I went I heard a pop, and I somehow left out one screw, so one of the woofers had a decent air leak.
