Default need legal help

Hey guys I recently bought a 2 peice dvd player from what im going to call store A. Store A is a very well known place for good quality electronic products. When purchasing the dvd player (about 1 month ago), the salesmen/i believe owner, told me it was simply a product that was advertised to sell in Alpine USA, but what they do not sell they simply ship to Canada at a blowout sale because they havent been able to sell it. I thought **** if im saving $1600CDN on a dvd player and monitor **** its a pretty good deal. Well when I was driving home I noticed on the box that it said refurbished so right away i'm thinking this thing was def broken but fixed so i better not have any problems with it. By the way I bought it for $600 plus taxes. Anyways, I just got it installed about 5 days ago, and as soon as i put a cd in the changer, it made a very loud almost scrambling noise like some almost broken opeice of **** cd/dvd player makes when trying **** hardest to read a dvd/cd. Well it worked fine for those few days and now is broken and wont take in any cd's and if i do finally get one in it just reads an error1 which is a malfunction in the changer and to contact alpine dealer. Oh and the important factor i left out is that i got it installed by a guy a best buy who i know for a fact knows wtf he is doing and has setup alpine's before (their setup for install is different from all other units). The peice of **** is under 90 day warranty so im still covered but when i took it back automatically the dueschbag at store A from which i bought it, actually the same *** who lied to me and gave me that bs story about it being from Alpine USA to alpine Canada simply because it couldnt sell, well that guy asks where i got it installed and i told him Best Buy, and automatically he's like "ya, u know we have a lot of problems with those guys they dont really know what they're doing. Once they set up a guys dvd plaer, and instead of doing something so **** important with the wires, he ripped them all apart and damaged the guys dvd player" and im just so ****ing pissed i almost wanted to punch him in the face. Automatically the dude starts blaming best buy for everything, meanwhile i have a unit that is fuc k ing refurbished yet he never suspects that? Hmmm interesting eh?....So the guy is wondering if its still under warranty because if it was passed 1 day he would probably tell me to **** off because hes a ***** but he says I have to go pay now to get it out and put back in so they can send it back. I'm ****ing pissed because i just paid Best buy $200 to install the two players and now they want me to pay again. So i'm going to ask him if this stupid peice of **** keeps breaking on me, which is their fault not mine, are they going to expect me to keep paying for their ****ups? They guys telling me it takes two seconds to take it out, and im like "well **** i dont work at a store like this or do this kindof **** myself so no its not easy" and i asked him if they could do it since it was so simple and hes telling me that since somewhere else has done it that they cant touch it which just kept pissing me off. So i'm going to go back to Best Buy this morning to see if the cool dude can yank it out so i can send it back and to first check the wiring but i doubt thats it.

on to my question(s):

In my honoust opinion, I feel like i've been violated almost like someone who would sue someone else because of the very same reason. The dude who sold me the "refurbished" products by telling me something else about it coming from Alpine USA to Canada obviously lied to me in order for me to buy a product that I believed never had to be repaired and to find out it wasnt even done right.
I truly dont think i should have to pay for this to get re-installed or even taken out. Do you guys have any thoughts on what I can do?

**** i just dropped $700 on the players, and $200 on the install and am now broke from that and they want me to keep forking money over. So if this pos keeps needed to be repaired because they cant, they will want me to keep paying to get it installed which is completely retarded and a waste of my money on a product that is broken which has nothing to do with me let alone is still under the warranty.

so ya can you guys please help me out i want this fixed before they **** me over with the warranty

The hardest lesson to learn is buyer beware. Check your paperwork to verify if it listes the item as refurbished. If the receipt does not list it as refurbished, you may have some recourse. As for the install and removal fees. That would have to be gotten back through a lawsuit. See if your friend would come over after hours and help you remove it for a beer or a bar-b-que or something. If they are selling refurbished items as "new" then you can sue them. Or atleast you can start with the threat of sueing them and see if that goes anywhere first. They can lose their distributorship from the manufacturer if they are miss representing the product.

You should take the unit back up there and kick the M'FER in the *****.[:@]Then tell him to give you your money back for the product and the install. If he says "uh we cant do that" then "uh" kick him in the ***** again!!!!![:@]Just kick him in the ***** repeatedly until he gives into the fact he is a lying BAG O DOUCHE and his "ALPINE USA" unit is a PIECE OF DOG SH$%!!!![:@] After he gets it handled thank him for his cooperation, by kicking once again in the *****!!!![:@]

I have three letters for you BBB (Better Business Bureau). If your story is correct the guy should sh*t his pants and give you your money back. Unless your dealing with a Tweeter or something. If you went to a small private owned place that should work. I can't stand people like that man. And maybe you should let him know that he sold you a refurbished system at full price. He pulling major fraud on you. and about the best buy bull ****, they do good installs considering best buy hires mobile engineers who have schooling history, and if this was a good business he would install it for you no matter who touched it first. I'd definately go BBB on his ***.

BBY will take it out if they installed it. I don't know why it would have costed 200 bucks to install it though........... Pulling stuff out is not nearly as hard as putting it in.
