Ok, currently installing a new HU, have a question. The two connections to the left of the pic, what are they for, because they won't be connected to the new HU?

Thanks

I'm being told the one to the lower left is for the subs, and the next one is the cd changer which we no longer need. If you didn't plug into the one furthers to the left to the new hu, then was there front l/r sub connection wires on the new harness?

Ok, heres the plan. Take a pair of rca's strip on side-->tap into the connection that I un plugged from the rear of the shaker "sub woofer connection"-->run the other side of the rca's to the front amp output on the rear of the new hu. Now with that being said, anyone know the wire config on that connection?

Thanks

See pic.

Left to Right

Brown/Orange
Pink/Brown
Blue/Purple

And of course the Ground

Just was wondering about the top three, prior to finishing up the install. Per stripping the one end of the rca's, can I ground the negative portion of both sides "right/left" to the conectors negative in the pic?

Thanks

I've read that the blue/purple is the remote turn on and the others are for the subs. Any issues with connecting the speaker ones up to rca's and going right into the new hu rca front inputs? I was also going to put a 4.7 resistor on the radios remote turn on wire to eliminate the popping sound when turned on. Can I just soldier it between the remote turn on wire?

Is Amp turn on, Remote turn on and 12 v ignition switched one in the same?

That is the correct Metra part # for the 06 Mustang, think I'm hanging this project up for a bit and ordering one.
