I got the mach 460 system in my 96 gt but it has a tape player and no cd. So i was wondering if i could just replace it with any other head unit and still ge tthe same sound quality. Or would i need to purchase an amp if the head unit i put in there is not powerful enough?

 

you can replace just the head unit. I just did it on my 94 and I am planning on posting the pics and showing how when my weekend starts tomorrow(wed).

 

if youve got space for it you can hook up the mach 460 6 cd changer to it. whats your set up look like? i just replaced my mach460 system this weekend
