Default Mach 460 Size

Is the Mach 460 unit a true double-din or is that 1.5 din size?

Its a double-din. You can get a single din and just get a kit to make it fit. I put the pioneer 490mp headunit in and it looks (not to mention the sound) great. If you need any help with install questions or other specs of the Mach 460 let me know.

I don't own a Mustang yet (stuck driving an Escape, brrr). The reason I asked is because I wanted to know if I could fit a Kenwood DDX7015 LCD screen in the 2004 Mustang (It's a double-din size). After looking at the interior of the Mustang and the DDX7015 I just don't think it'll fit in there...

The Kenwood DDX7015 should fit fine....but damn it that thing expencive. You can get a 7 inch LCD for less than $200 and a dvd player for another $200 and then get a nice headunit for the stereo for about $500 and the xm tuner for $200 and 4 new speakers for $350 and a amp for another $300. All that together costs the same as that one unit. I would really thing twice about getting that. I just put a great sounding system in my car(no video, but hey I don't know about you but I'm not gonna be watching a DVD in my car and the mustang isn't really a road trip car) and it only cost me about $1600 for everything. I got all high end pioneer equiptment (headunit, xm tuner, speakers, amps) and a bad a$$ subwoofer (the power acoustik mofo15) and a 1600w RMS amp for it. $1700 is WAY too much for just the headunit. But then again...if you have money to burn I'd love to see what performance parts you put in there.
