Default factory amp

My 88 gt has a factory amp.How can I by-pass the amp? I've been everywhere trying to look for a wire harness that will by-pass the factory amp but know one has anything. They just tell me to run my speakers direct to the radio with new wire.I was trying to aviod that.I'd rather just plug in a hrness and be done with it.Can anyone help me with my situation?

Default RE: factory amp

do you know what a standard ford speaker hrns looks like? Grey and rectangular? the amp is most likely at the bottom of the dash and should have a couple of hrns plugged into it. Look at the hrns's and see if one looks like the standard ford speaker hrns, if not then trace the hrns's and one should go towards the glove box. Behind it there should be a regular ford hrns. It can be hard to find but it is up there.
