Default Alarm/Security

I want to get a LCD Alarm system that works well and has remote start etc. I'm looking into Viper and Python. The Viper one is about $180 for the system and the Python is $500 with install. There is a pretty big difference in price so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were and opinions.

Gotcha. So I guess the obvious answer is the viper since its a lot cheaper. And I'm gonna have it professionally done. I would destroy my car if I made an attempt. Haha

ask the shop what kind of connections they use? T-taps=NEVER, crimp=ok, solder=best.... Ask if they will try to hide the siren and brain or if the goal is to get out of the car as quick as possible? A good alarm with a bad install is nothing to get around.......

Thanks for the response. I'll make sure they do everything the best possible to ensure it'll work to the max.

yea of course. i was thinking of going to circuit city since they have the kit but i just don't trust. i have a local guy in town who wins awards and everything from magazines so i'll probably just go to him. they wouldn't want to destroy their rep because of a half-a** wiring job i would think.
